I’m wondering if you have any insight into developing and construction on properties that are heavily tree’d and a little off the grid, as far as installing solar and connecting to sewage and water. What would a project on a raw from scratch property potentially cost?
George P. So you simply get a contractor and ask them to refinish and replace everything? What about specific design details such as tile and all? If you wouldn't mind sharing personal experiences it would be appreciated
Thanks John Mathewson but as far as home buying and getting a good deal for your money, besides personal research, what is the best resource to help you accomplish buying property

My question is when you're choosing a house to flip and renovate are you guys re-designing theses houses yourselves and managing the construction or how do you go about planning for reconstruction and design ideas?

@Robert S. great information! thank you. I will continue to keep you all posted!!

First time home buyer, I'm curious what agency/Realtor I should use or what is the best way to go about finding the best deal for a property weather it be apartment, condo, or house. I will be buying in the NJ/NY area in May/June. Also who should I have evaluate the home as far as it's general well being or structure and maintenance problems that may be hiding. If you need any more information please let me know, also any help at all to point me in the right direction will help. I will be in NY/NJ for only a week in April before having to decide (a friend will be there prior scouting). Also any tricks to buying a home out of state or something to be aware of in NJ/NY.

Thank you very much!

Well I think our purchase date will be nearer May or June, I did look at a few places in Union City, NJ. And am looking at spending around 250,000$. 2+ bedrooms with a commute to W. 18th st. In an hour or less.

Richard Brideau it's actually not allowing me to PM but to Manhattan it estimated more like a 110 min ride. Am I incorrect?
