Hi ,Engelo,

thank you for your honest reply :
i have watched all your videos, so I think I have a good view on OHIO cashflow , your way of working and your stance on investors at OCF.

I wouldnt consider myself an experienced investor in any way.
althougg I have been buying rentals in the Netherlands since 2009 and currently own 11 rentals there.

But I completely agree that you cant expect that 1 property will  give you financial freedom.
So my ambition in the USA is to have 20 + rentals within 5 years.
i have got some reasons to start investing in the USA. One of them is that my wife is american and I also think investing in the rental market in the Midwest can give a better return.

So the Numbers look good to me in general, but I wonder if they still look good if I take all taxes and other things I might not know in consideration.

This is why I am curious to hear from other foreign/maybe Dutch investors,
so I know to which things I should pay attention.
Thanks again Engelo and maybe speak to you soon.

Hello Bigger pockets people,

Are there any foreign/European investors here that have experience with Ohio Cashflow?

I would like to know more about taxes, LLC and wether you need to have an US bank account.

I was already in touch with OHC and that in combination with the research I did gave me a good and sound impresion.

I only wonder about some practical matters when investing in Real estate overseas.

Best regards

Max

Hi Max,

The best advice I could give you and anyone else that is buying from overseas is this.

Unless you are looking to build a large portfolio and purchase numerous properties it isn't worth the risk, time and hassle for you as the investor and for us as the company.

There are many hurdles/hassles for foreigners buying in the US and buying just 1 property just isn't worth it in my opinion.

I even say the same thing to local US based investors that only want to buy 1 property.

Over the past 5 years we have noticed that the most demanding/disrespectful investors are those looking to buy just one property thinking it will deliver them financial freedom.

We have actually started becoming super stringent when it comes to our investor evaluation process because of this.

Thanks for your interest in working with us and hopefully we will get to the stage of serving your long term vision.

Good evening ,

Is this thread still actual ?

I have been investing in the Netherlands for 6 years and own 10 rental properties in the south.

I would like to learn new things and share my experience/knowledge.

Dear people ,

I am new to this forum and would like to introduce myself.

I am Max from the Netherlands and have been investing in rental properties for the last 6 years in the Netherlands.

Currently i hold 10 properties in the Netherlands.

Right now I am planning to start investing in the USA for multiple reasons.

One of them is that my fiancé is an American :) ;)

I am still figuring out to work w a turnkey company or do the purchase part myself and work with a property manager.

Are there any foreign investors here that have experience with getting an US bank account to their LLC while being on a distance ?

If anyone has questions on the Dutch real estate market I am more then willing to answer them.

Greetings Max
