Hello Bigger pockets! My name is Mauricio Rezende and currently I have a smaller pocket that I hope to make bigger from real estate. 😎
Brief bio:
I graduated from UCF December 2015 with a Bachelor's in international relations and global studies. After graduation I decided to try working for my dad selling property and casualty insurance after about 3 months I quickly found out that I didn't want to be behind a desk all day everyday. I left my father's company while continuing to work promotions, trade shows, conventions, autoshows, and some part time modeling and acting as well (which is what I currently do).
I found bigger pockets after listening to a ton of podcasts, from the ask bigger pockets to house flipping junkie. I read rich dad poor Dad and am currently reading "buying real estate without cash or credit" by Peter Conti & David Finkel, I also am going to read profit first & the slight edge next.
My goals:
With real estate ideally I would like to start in wholesaling (I think) BC I don't have a bigger pocket yet but eventually I would like to own a few apartment buildings and be a landlord.
Any and all advice is appreciated and I do intend to find my local REA group as well. I've thought about seeking out an apprenticeship with someone who flips potentially or becoming an acquisition manager for a real estate or wholesaler and even being a property manager. Anything to get my feet wet and start understanding the environment more. Excited to see what 2017 will bring!
