Is it a good idea to invest in the Bay Area? Or flip?

@Patrick M Nichols

The property I found on auction.com has a lien on it for $1.2M. I am not sure if I bid on this property and I get it, am I stuck with this &1.2M lien or the bank gets rid of it?

@Elenis C.

Hi Elenis,

Awesome awesome blog and I enjoyed reading it. Thank you for pointing me to the blog. It gave me a more courage to get started. As far is choosing city to invest in, do you just randomly say “let’s invest in Jacksonville,” or did you do some research on upcoming cities that are not too saturated yet?

Matt

@Shannon M.P. Lewis

Hi Shannon,

Thank you for the advice... i do prefer investing locally, but you know how the Bay Area market is. It’s ridiculously high here. Dang Cruz Mountains would be a get option. How would I be able to find properties in SC mountains?

Thank you

Matt

@James Wise

Hi James,

Thank you for taking the time to give me a detailed checklist of what to look for when getting into RE. Since you are on the other side of the coin, perhaps you could help me take a look at some properties that would be a good starter for someone like me in the Cleveland area, preferably resident multi-family.

I want to see what my options re and how the numbers look. Who knows, maybe my first property would be in Cleveland.

Thank you

Matt

@Clayton Mobley

Hi Clayton,

Thanks for taking the time and giving me a detailed run-down of turnkey properties and the work to expect for the firm you are working with. I read your biography and it’s quite impressive.

Maybe you can give me some numbers on some potential turkey Properties that would be a good start for a newbie like me?

If he interested to see how the numbers look.
