If things like this go nationwide it will get bad fast. Much worse than a run of the mill recession. And while people want to blame it on the virus our economy & society had deep flaws & risks many ignored & would not discuss like entitlements, socialism creeping in over decades & more like national debt & of course the elephant in the room of Federal Reserve manipulation & Keynesian not Austrian/Biblical Economics!

Discuss widely & freely!

We need to band together to get through this!

@Jay Hinrichs

Remember my multiple threads on the crash? Some extremely popular some not so much. The Corona has exposed the markets many other issues & bubbles!

This is crazy & sad to see but not surprising!

Several people that pitched me on real estate partnerships & syndication over the last decade are now broke, in prison or being sued.

Growth Equity in Chicago is one & fortunately like with Steve Down I steered clear of them!

Link to article about Falls Event center founder that recently went under & is facing major legal issues. His wedding venues in Dallas all shut down suddenly recently & left many couples out their deposits & venues!

Sad times we live in just as we enter bear market today & prepare for crash of our lifetime!

Syndication. But do your homework!

@Nick Taylor

I would consider Oklahoma a lot more. More upside & low property tax & different laws.

Me too but they can’t help with syndications which I do a lot of, and price is crazy high!

Called deferred interest. Stay away from it & you’ll be fine. Helps to set up high interest savings goals with money earmarked to ensure big payments made on time!

@Doug Smith

What about all the new online lenders, some even advertise rates at 3-6% but even when my credit score topped 800 with no debt I couldn’t get approved for anything under 8%?

I really wish there was a lender that would consider assets like silver, real estate & crypto to do a low rate asset backed loan almost like a mortgage but shorter term.

I did find an online crypto lender that does 5.99% but it can work against you like a margin loan if volatility especially negative returns on the crypto hit.

Thinking about trying it with $1k & going no higher than 20% of crypto so I can handle a margin call with ease.

Otherwise I’m just stuck with juggling 0% credit cards again & again!

@Dennis M.

That makes a dollar loaf of bread look expensive at $16! Ouch!

Sticker shock!

And only thing that’s cheap in today’s society is silver & crypto & ammo!

@Johnny L.

Thanks. I’m glad to be back to my passive investing in mobile homes & actively doing silver & crypto!

The Lowe’s card was great especially because they were doing 10% discount at the time.

I would look for a card that has longest 0% timeframe & low fees for cash into account immediately. Also consider your credit limit on each card as to protect your credit score as much as possible. Citi typically is longest at 21 months & also look for any signup bonuses to reduce expenses.
