@Mike Bernardo Its through a private investor, but I've also applied through Fundwise Capital.

@Brian Murkland I don't have a current property lined up to invest in. I'm looking for a multi-family because my wife and I have been managing a 30 unit for the past 3 years and I feel comfortable with that. We wouldn't use the credit until we had something lined up.

I recently applied for and received a pretty substantial unsecured line of credit with 0% interest for about 15 months. Everything seems like an ideal situation for this type of loan. I'm a newbie in REI and I'm afraid I might be missing something. The only catch about this type of loan seems like the higher interest rate after the 15 months. Anyone have experience with these? I'm in San Diego, California and looking for property here if possible.

Getting eager to being investing and I'd feel more comfortable doing a long-term rental somewhere nearby. With that said I think we have to be close to a housing peak here in San Diego. I feel like San Diego is "un-investable" for someone with limited education like myself. Should I look elsewhere or just build more cash and wait it out?

My wife and I currently manage a 30-unit apartment complex and we're consistently on AOA. We're partially on there a lot because we're relatively new. There are some great resources and the pricing is extremely affordable (around $70 a year). Is there another platform that offers similar content and collateral? Is this a must have for you? What are your general thoughts?
