Post: Questions About Mobile home Park Investing

I spoke to an individual who owns a MHP and he wants to sell. He's motivated. He gave me some details and I said I would get back to him with a possible offer. The thing is, I know nothing about MHPs so I've been reaching out to see who does. Would someone who has experience be able to chat on the phone for a few minutes? I don't want to waist anyone's time.

Does anyone have experience with mobile home parks? I don't want to take up too much time but I have a few questions.

Propstream will let you virtually drive for dollars. I usually stop by the house and look for the numbers

@Matthew Novelli, I wouldn't think too much about something so simple. You should know what street you are cruising down, if not your GPS will tell you that. When it comes to the number if it isn't clear, write down a house number you can see and a clear direction. For example "Green house to the left of 123 Main St". You can easily identify the house later from that using other resources like google street view or your county's GIS mapping software.

I recommend driving for dollar early in the morning when other people aren't out and about yet. If the house looks vacant you can go walk around the outside at minimum and document what you see in terms of condition etc without arousing attention from neighbors etc.

Thanks for the tips. I'm going to get in the truck this week and see what's out there. I've seen quite a few houses in my town that I want to check out.

Hello. I wanted to start driving for dollars. I enjoy driving and I like looking at houses. It seems like a great match. Is there an app or way to determine what address homes are at? I know that I can look at numbers and streets, but some homes are hard to tell.

Is there a wholesale individual in the Austin area that I can work for for free? I would like to learn the business.

Thank you and have a great day.

Hey dude! I'm in the same exact boat as you just starting out. Would definitely be down for a weekly/monthly zoom call. Maybe we can get everyone who responded to this thread into a newbie accountability group! Definitely free to reach out for my contact info.

Add me to that. I am new to investing and currently on the hunt for the 1st house. Being a loan officer I always kept my eye on the real estate industry.

1st post :P

Hit me up please! Would love to connect. I'm a mortgage officer on my third deal. Anything I can help with I will.

Cheers!

Thank you for reaching out. I'll message you my number and please provide yours as well.
