I have a house I'm very interested in, but noticed there is a 50% petroleum property rights attachment to it. There are also some mineral rights
This is in central florida.
Does this mean anytime the govt. can come and molest the property?

Has anyone heard horror stories about this?
If it isnt a concern, then I will be pulling the trigger on this house.
thanks,
matt

How about investing in an area that is several states away?
I have a rental property in NC that is managed by a great company who I trust.
I am moving to FL this month.

This area of NC has lots of opportunities for cheap rental homes and we were thinking of expanding our rental investment there...despite the distance.
I may require a couple of trips up, but I could figure that into the cost.

Anyone else ever done this?

I have a property manager who charges a flat rate of 10% for single family homes. He does not charge anything extra for finding a tenant.

Is there such an animal?
A kind of loan to help cover your old house while it is for sale on the market, yet still covers your new house?

Or is the only option to get a HELOC?
