I am trying to get a residential loan through a conventional lender but I am getting told that they will not work with me if I go through my LLC. Has anyone else run into this issue and have you found that this is the norm?

Amanda, I am working out in Vernal right now. The market out here is way slow. I had more options than I knew what to do with when I was searching for an apartment. There are a lot of empty places out here. I think that if you could find the right deal and don't mind having to sit till the market picks up then now would probably be a pretty good time to invest out in the basin, but if you are needing cash flow right away the basin probably isn't the place to invest in.

Hello all, So I have a duplex in Provo Utah and the contracts are needing to be renewed in August. Both tenants have expressed the desire to stay. So for those in the Provo area what are you seeing as a typical, but fair rent increase right now? Thanks for the help! Matt

Hello, I am relatively new to real estate investing, but excited that I found this website. I live in Spanish Fork Utah and I am interested in multi-family rentals and in flipping.  I am a construction management graduate and have been working for a contractor for the past 5 years, and now I want to branch out and learn more about investing in real estate.
