I'm not really sure what I am allowed to say on here about his credit, so pardon me for being vague.

Basically, vehicle was voluntary surrender, and it appears there was another vehicle on his report so maybe he didn't need it.  The screener said the car was divorce related, so maybe it was his wife.  The other delinquent accounts were non-essential items, and one that was mentioned on here as not being a big deal.

Hello,

This is my first post here, usually I just lurk so I can learn, but I am renting my first house, and I have an applicant that I am unsure of.

The applicants job checked out (pay stubs and contacted employer), only criminal record is driving related, and has a rentwise score over 800.  What concerns me is the rest of his credit.  He apparently is going through a divorce and returned a car, and was sent to collections over non-housing related items.  His residency screening has come back clean so he has no evictions or foreclosures etc.  He also makes 3 times the rent, even after deductions.  Is there anything to be worried about with these delinquent items on his report or am I just being too cautious?

I pay someone to screen tenants, so I haven't had the chance to talk to him yet, which I plan to based on the credit report.  Any advice?

Thanks in advance
