My sister was born and raised in California.  She recently moved her entire family out to Austin Texas.  She told me the job market and area was much better for a family.  California is very saturated with people and more and more folks are moving in from all over the world.  People go to college out here and then want to stay here.  I am convinced that the real estate market out here is doing as well as it is because of these factors.  

She has been in Austin for over a year now and LOVES it there.  She is trying to get me an my wife to move out there.  I am going to be a harder sell.  I hope that shines a little light on your question.  Sorry if I missed your point.

Hello Everyone, 

My name is David and I am new to the real estate game.  I am currently researching and preparing to invest into Tax Liens and Tax Deeds.  This is my first attempt into real estate and I very excited to get my feet wet.  I have my MBA and currently work for an apparel company in Cypress California as a Senior Analyst.  So I am great at research and analysis.  

I would love to bounce ideas off of others with some experience in this area and who wouldn't mind sharing their thoughts with me. Looking forward to exploring the site.
