@Tyler B Collins and @James Mitchell

I can second James' notion. Rental demand is very high in Charleston. Additionally, there are lots of properties for a low prices that can be very profitable, especially north of the Kanawha river.

I'm in a few parts of Charleston and could at least offer some market insight. Let me know anytime!

@Jobie DeVinney-Walsh

We can definitely find a solution! Perhaps an auction service? Perhaps a fellow investor or myself would be interested in buying "AS-IS"

Regardless, there are several options and YOU have the leverage in this market!!! Please give me a call when you get a chance (number is in your inbox)

All the best for you in this difficult time.

Charleston WV skilled tradespeople- where are you at??? Fellow Charleston investors- where are they at???

I have found a few good specialists that are absolute rock stars at their specific skill, but I'm struggling to find good handymen that can do a bit of everything for a fair price. Every contractor I talk to is an end-user/retail provider. I would do anything for someone to hang drywall, change locks, install cabinets, sand floors, paint walls and doors for 10-12/hour.

Does anyone have an individual that does this sort of thing that can handle additional odd jobs? I would be forever indebted!

We can move around! We have Pies and Pints in Charleston which is a great spot. Do we want to plan for Pies and Pints at 6 on Wednesday the 27th? Then we can do Huntington the following week and take it from there?

@Dylan Good, I only have long term rentals at this point in time. Like @Damon K Verellen, I am trying to find out more about what kind of volume you can expect at an average rate. 20 days a month? 15 a month during the winter? We are planning a get together on Wednesday in this Charleston Real Estate Forum. Perhaps we can all converge?

Charleston, WV / Southern West Virginia Real Estate Investors,

Does anyone know a RE investor in the Charleston, WV area that has had success with short term rentals? I'm very curious about what the critical mass looks like here. Is it feasible to do it year around? Would be super grateful for any connections anyone has developed. AirBnb vs. VRBO, monthly vs nightly etc. Any insight is helpful.

Thanks in advance!

@Deak Smith, awesome!!! I will make myself available. Anyone have a favorite spot in a midway location?

@Jobie DeVinney-Walsh,

Terribly sorry about your recent struggles- I want to help. I have the best agent in Charleston who has multiple specialist agents beneath her. I also have partners that will buy the houses cash. And if those dont work, I'm well connected to a private auction service that gets top dollar in hot markets like today's.

We will get your house sold one way or another just shoot me a message!

@John B. Waugaman Jr. and @Deak Smith,

I think it would be awesome to get together and exchange thoughts. I'm not aware of anything organized for Charleston, WV area. I'm sure there are plenty of people that would be interested!

Wednesday's seem to be open most of the time. Weekends would work too. What works best for everyone???
