Thank you, everyone, for your input and I will have my group look into if we can provide this and more information for you.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Mason Traylor and I'm asking the BP community about what you want when it comes to data or information about real estate? I'm lucky enough to be in a position to know a lot of talented people that work with data, and I want to use this to help myself and others. SO what do you want to see? Records? Migrational Data? Housing projections? You name it or the pain you are having with data and we will see what we can do.

Thank for the additional information on this area. I can see that these people are motivated to bring change to the area, but can that really happen? The question would be is Columbus is growing fast enough to warrant such high-cost development in that area? Time will tell I guess, but I'm not much of a gambler so I'm fine to wait.

@Robert Ellis

If the military taught me anything is that if something sounds too good it usually not. With 6 years of that lesson drilled into me, I now take all information with a CUP of salt. Yeah, I'm now looking at a few duplexes-Quadplexes that need little to no rehab work. If you also know of good property management companies then please send them to me. I will have to hire someone to handle 90% of the work anyway. Luckily If it needs REHAB work I already have a very trustworthy and reliable person for that. THANK YOU>

@Robert Ellis

I enjoy the facts and data more than anything else when dealing with something like this, so it's much appreciated. I think it grabs attention because you have very low home and land prices. I personally was looking at a 6 unit building in the area, but I don't think I would consider it anymore. I personally will keep looking around for some multi-family units, and I hope a good deal comes around. Value investing is the only thing I know.

@BJ Everson

Thank you for your words of wisdom on this matter as being a Columbus native. I did know that the area was split up into 2 areas but I didn't know most of the development is onesided. Don't worry I wasn't going to make any rash decision or jump on any bandwagon. Whatever deal I agree on will be my first so for me it's crucial it's a decision based solely on logic.

Hey Everyone,

This is the material I have about the redevelopment and current construction in the area. I would be interested in your thoughts on the cities proposal and if it's actually feasible. Also, the area is offering tax incentives for those who buy, improve, and rent out properties for the next 12 years. I'm on the fence about investing in the area, and I'm currently waiting on my partner to scan data on the area.

Hello Everyone,

I'm curious what others who know Columbus think about the Franklinton area?

I read in the news that 2 major projects are happening in the area. I also read the cities redevelopment plan of the area. Im curious if you think what they plan is possible. I'm currently not in Columbus so I can't see if any improvements are being made.

While I don't know too much about Columbus as you do, isn't Franklinton getting a bunch of attention lately? I read that companies are building 2 large projects in that area (I know 1 is called gravity not sure on the second). I also reviewed the areas redevelopment plans, I would be curious about your thoughts on those. Do you think that region will begin to change in the next 5-10 years or will it remain the same?

Post: My first deal, will hopefully be a good one.

Thank you for your words of wisdom. I'm currently in Berlin, Germany and will probably remain for the foreseeable future. My business partner is in D.C., but we are both Ohio natives. I will continue to read and try to ask less questions.
