Yes I have already lost a couple homes I was interested in quickly because I usually get my agent to go see a home prior to putting an offer in. By the time that happens, the home is under contract. 

I currently rent out my second bedroom on airbnb here in Maryland. I like it so far, although I've had some crazy guests.

Do you all know of any areas in Dallas that will fit my budget and also good for cash flow? Just want to keep my options open!

Hi everyone!

Im looking to invest in my first home as an owner-occupant in Texas. Im new to the area and to real estate and really trying to figure out which area would be the best to invest in? My plan is to find a 3b 2ba home and rent out the other two rooms for sometime. My budget is about 200k. Eventually, I would like to rent out the entire home and move on to a next property. I have been looking specifically at the Arlington area of Dallas, and east of Fort Worth, close to Arlington.  And the southwestern area of fort worth near the fort worth zoo.

Im open to all advice!!!
