@micheal totman, thanks,  I understand now that the only route after a refi is buy and hold and to SELL the property not necessarily flipping. And I didn't understand the second paragraph.  Could you explain?

@bradley grrenburg,  thanks,  you just answered my question.  So I can refi and rent out and then flip later on.

Hello bp fam. I need advice about refi a house. I know that you can do the brrrr method if you are renting out and refi-ing on a sfh. My question is can you flip a property if you refi? Would I be able to sell it for the appraised value if equity is taken out?

Thanks.

@mindy Jensen. Don't understand what you mean by back up offer? If someone else has put it under contract and close to getting the property.

@christopher Phillips.  I didn't have all my ducks in a row. Cash, and I also had to get my 2015-16 taxes and tax season isn't here yet. That's what really got me. But just because it's under contract doesn't necessarily mean that is been sold something could stop them from getting it and it could be back on the market. Or simply as this, on to the next

@christopher Phillips.  I'm sorry brother but that doesn't help me or answer my questions.

hey BiggerPockets family. I want to know something about a status change on a house. I was looking at this house and it came on the market about 2 weeks ago. It didn't say that anybody bought it. But now the status has changed to unknown and the sell date on it is December 1st 2016. Does this mean that somebody has bought it? Or is it going back off market right now? Is it under contract? But normally if it is under contract it would say under contract. I'm just curious on what the status means. Thanks BiggerPockets.
