Hi Jeff,
I met the flipper/rehabber through my real estate agent but he also attends the REI meet ups I go to. I don't have my own lending "business," so I lend through a local guy (who also attends the meet ups) that does have a lending business. He handles the paperwork and ensures the lien is recorded with the State.

Mark

Hi everyone! My name is Mark Takaki. I just wanted to introduce myself as suggested by a number of BP podcasts. I stumbled across the BP website a few weeks ago and have been hooked on its incredible content ever since. I'm fairly new to REI so I'm open to hearing about everything before I decide to focus on a niche. The problem I have is that everything about REI sounds interesting to me. For example, after I went to my first REI meet up a couple weeks ago, I now want to rehab houses because the topic was Flipping 101. Prior to this, my wife and I have done one buy and hold and currently we are private money lenders because our original goal was to create passive income streams.
Anyway, I would like to network both online and in person, so I can learn more from everyone else’s experiences. Half the year I work at night, so I’m available for meet ups in the mornings after our kids go to school and in the afternoons before work.
Mahalo,
Mark T.
