@David Jay that's a great strategy. This way you build up some social capital and references as well. But I am guessing you get a lot of questions on fb chat. Do you manage a lot of units?

@Jeff Filali thanks for sharing. Can you check something that I use? Can I send you a private msg?

Not sure what exactly what you mean by that.

Are you asking if an insurance policy would cover the cost of these types of things? Or if you can ensure that things like this won't happen?

So to cover if something like this happens.

No. Stuff like this comes right out of the landlord's pocket.

Thant's no fun is it. So it's so important to pre-screen tenants from all angles. I am curious to know how you do that.

@Jim Adrian so you don't post on social media at all? Did you post on facebook marketplace or just in groups?

I think I will add that functionality to my web app - post to multiple facebook groups and also the new marketplace they have.

Post: Feedback needed on something I've built

Hi,

I've built a web application that automates everything from showings to receiving rental applications to running background checks. It stops the whole madness of receiving gazillion emails and calls.

I built it for myself and found that people who are managing multiple units like it as well.

I am still improving the product and am looking for feedback from beta users.

You can test it out at  http://test.vcancy.com

You can make an account or if you don't want to then let me know and I'll send you some demo credentials.
