@Alexander Reed I'd recommend going to your local REIA networking meetings. There will be plenty of hard money lenders to interview. As well other Real Estate Investors can recommend their favorite lenders.

There should be some Meetups in your area. I did a quick Google search of "meetup austin rei" and saw a few that might work for you.

Hello BP! Newbie Investor here trying to do all of my research before my first deal. I keep hearing about neighborhood ratings on the podcasts and posts: A, B, C, & D. I've used Trulia.com to look up Crime Info for a neighborhood, but have not seen where to truly find this neighborhood rating.

Is there a go to website for this neighborhood rating or is it just kind of subjectively created?
