I could be wrong but I believe most DCSR loans would still report on your personal credit.   If you find a lender, I am not sure it will accomplish what you are intending.

Your realtor is advising you to commit mortgage fraud.  You need a new realtor.

If you are using conventional financing, a second home (vacation home) requires at least 10% down.   A rental property requires 20% down.

Hi Jonathan, You can finance a 4-unit with FHA financing, if you plan to occuppy one unit. The minimum down payment is 3.5% of the purchsae price. I am a lender in FL if you wanted to DM me. I would be happy to discuss it more.

In your closing documents you should have an amoritzation breakdown for all of the projected payments for the 30 years of your mortgage.   Compare this against your billing statement that you received from the new servicer and the numbers match, assuming you are making payments on time.  If not, you have reason to be concerned.

Quote from @Zack Crouse:

Greetings,

My name is Zack Crouse and I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. I currently live in Cape Coral, FL and work as a fire fighter / paramedic. I've been intrigued with real estate for as long as I can remember but was never in the position to get started, or simply did not know how. I feel like I am in the right position in life to start with my first rental. I am looking to do the BRRRR method and have all of my rentals in the Pittsburgh area. I plan on retiring from the fire department in 6 years and moving my family back to Pittsburgh. My goal is to have 10 rentals by the time we move. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
