I just checked the zoning and it is single family or two family only. Thanks again. I will have to rethink  my strategy.

Thank you for replying so quickly. I may have to change my plans, since I do not know how it is zoned. Do you know the number or have a website where I can find out how it is zoned?

I am considering renting out individual rooms in a four room two bath house in Hermitage, Tennessee. That is near Nashville for those not from the area. My question is can I do that? Do I have to have to have an entire house renter that is allowed to sublet, or can I rent the rooms out as a landlord that is not living on the premises?
