Post: Looking for a Broker in NYC to hang my license. Any suggestions?

My name is Jeffrey Mark and I have been active in the real estate industry for two years as a real estate investor/wholesaler in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area. I recently passed my state exam to become a licensed salesperson and I am seeking a home in NYC to hang my license. Real estate is the center of my life. My previous endeavors in the industry have equipped me with an advantage that most new real estate agents lack. In addition to my experience I am always looking for ways to learn more and improve. I am looking to join a brokerage that I can not only contribute to the team, but where I am also able to learn from my peers. In order to be the best you have to surround yourself with the best. I'd love to meet with anyone who can further discuss the needs of your brokerage and how I am able to fulfill them.

I would love to work with a broker who can possibly act as a mentor and guide me through my first couple of months as an agent.

Thanks for taking the time to read this brief description of myself. I'll be looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello investors?

Has anyone ever heard of a skiptrace service called TLO. I was referred by a colleague of mine and I wanted some more insight on the program before I decided to hop in it. I will be using the service for the purpose of locating homeowners with vacant and unwanted homes that are hard to locate. Thanks again.

@Account Closed for providing the link. I am currently wholesaling properties in the DMV area. You and I actually connected in the past on a few properties I had available.

My partner and I would like to start getting experience on rehabs. We want to pursue our first project before the end of the year.

Congrats on the calls. I am beginning my YL campaign in my area and look to get the same success. If I may ask how many did you send out on your first run? 50? 100?

Hello everyone,

I am putting together my mailing campaign to generate new leads for 2014 in PG County, Maryland and DC. My first campaign that consisted of 40 absentee owner leads wasn't too successful but I am going to give it another run. Hey, you have to be consistent.

I would like to give probate leads a run but I have been having a little trouble deciding where to start. When I look on the register of wills available online I get confused because I do not see a piece of real estate associated with the estate. If anyone has any advice that could point me into the right direction I would appreciate it.

Thank you

Hello @Christina R. I am interested in purchasing some tax liens this June. I see that you mentioned you purchased one over the counter last June. How can I find out more information about the time of the sales and the different properties that will be available for tax sale. Thanks.

Thank you so much for taking out time to reply to my ad. I definitely think I would like to go the route you have went. I am looking forward to getting my license in Dc and being able to learn more to help my credibility.
