Boots to Real Estate: Empower service members and veterans to become real estate professionals.

Boots to Real Estate is an organization that will soon be a non-profit to fill the need to empower service members and veterans to become real estate professionals through networking, education, funding, and other resources.

I am looking for volunteers to get this nonprofit up and running.

I need professionals who are experienced in real estate, social media marketing, fundraising, nonprofit finance, scholarships, nonprofit management, etc.

You will be eligible to serve on my board and/or committees. The benefits are endless.

We are located in Reno, Nevada, but you can be located anywhere in the US.

Click here to join the facebook group

Even if you are not interested in volunteering at the moment please join the facebook group and share with anyone who might be interested.

I am also looking for partners that can provide funding or donate resources to start and run this nonprofit. Potential partners I'd like to work with are Title/Escrow Companies, Real Estate Brokerages (Disclaimer: I am going to be licensed with Keller Williams), Loan consultants/originators/officers/etc, Real Estate Investors, CPAs, Tax Professionals, Real Estate Educators, and those who support our US Military.

If you have any questions about myself, please don't hesitate to ask.

Oh and @Scott Jaffa I took a workshop and other elite education courses that really did help. The free workshop alone provided me with new insights and knowledge. Going in I already knew they would offer other services and products so I wasn't surprised. I actually took advantage of it. I plan on attending another workshop to get the discounted pricing on what they have lol

They have these workshops all over the US. Let me know if you or anyone else wants info.

Hey everyone! It's been very busy around here especially with the holidays, but I wanted to let you all know that I passed my real estate exam and I am just waiting on my license to come in.

Whether or not getting a real estate license while doing wholesaling has come up a lot and I'm here to say that it is worth doing. People get paid for value and having a license will drastically increase your value.

Part of my goal is to show you all you can do both and make even more money doing it!

The start up costs are a little expensive depending on your state board fees, but in the long run it will pay for itself. For example, part of wholesaling is building your team and finding a real estate agent to help you get access to the MLS, get insights to the market, etc. But, now that you become an agent yourself you don't have to pay someone for those services. You will get access to a lot of title companies, lenders, and so many others to build your team in almost an instant.

Also, I am going to start a separate LLC for my real estate licensed work. The reason being is to keep it separate from the wholesaling business because of the different operations and visions for each. Eventually I will have a series LLC for all of my businesses I have planned.

Okay, last thing. I'm forming a nonprofit organization called Boots to Real Estate. This nonprofit organization is going to empower service members and veterans to become real estate professionals through networking, funding, and education. Let me know what you all think! I already have the domain, facebook page and group, etc. Waiting on the logos to come in.

Okay okay.. One last thing as a thank you for reading my post and joining the thread. If you want to receive 20 percent off on all business filing services through my corpnet partnership send me a message. I can also provide you free compliance check on your already formed business. I get nothing from this since I am passing my savings onto you. Stop thinking about forming an LLC for your business and do it now to protect yourself and your future.

Hey everyone,

Here is a great article on joint venturing in our wholesaling world. In other words co-wholesaling a deal.

@Matt Zilinskas and @Ron Walton you are welcome :) Trying to put out some useful information. It also helps me retain the knowledge. Lifelong learning is best way to go!
