As winter is approaching here in northern Wisconsin I have 3 units vacant. Is it permitted to offer incentives, like a free TV for first qualifying tenant, cash back on first month's rent etc. Any advice on how to attract more eye balls.

Dean H. Would it be possible for you to drill down on those numbers, say an example, for us less experience.

Thanks Ryan Tuleja Josh C. Russell Brazil for your inputs, I looked up specific dog laws in Wisconsin and apparently Rottweiler's are not on the list. I appreciate all your points of the argument. Hopefully I can make the right call.

Thanks for your response Ryan, would you suggest maybe meeting up with the owners and dog.

We have a 2 bedroom upstairs apartment for rent in Superior WI, and a potential tenant is asking if we would accept renting to a 1 year old Rottweiler owner. Would like to get others perspective on this, as my first instinct is "no ways"

There are two times showing, one is 10:00am, and on the poster showing 10-12pm.

Is there anyway that this event could be attended via "Skype" or any other means, because I'd love to attend.

@Ronan M. I have just remodeled a 4 unit building with each unit having its own basement and washer and dry included. My approach is raise the rents to include the $20 - $30 you would get from charging the $1.25 - $1.50 per wash. Save on the extra step of having to collet rents, plus empty machines of coins. Maybe I'm missing out on a whole new stream of revenue, who knows.

Great idea @Ibrahim Hughes, I also like it that you will use this as a learning tool. Good luck, I looking forward to hearing more on this subject. Glad to see someone giving for a change, good on you.

@Michael Wessel First let me congratulate you on you buys.

So what do your numbers look like on these Micheal. I'm curious as I've just bought myself 3x4 Plex's in the passed 3 months. Mine are all 100k each at $500 a unit rent. Four of the units are empty, which we are now renovating with obvious intentions to increase rents and re position the building. I am very interested if you are doing anything similar.

Great to hear that you have jumped in with both feet. Good luck.
