Sure what do you want to know?

When you purchased your first STR, was it solely your own money?

Looking to connect with potential investors...

I am starting out in the STR game. I'm not new to Real Estate, but getting back into it. I Started in Luxury Residential Rentals- but want to move into STR's.

I'm an extremely fast learner, and willing to do the leg work. Im ideally going to be starting my own property management company for small "boutique/aesthetic STR's" in the Lakes Region of NH.

I have *some* money to invest as a show of good faith.

Bachelor's Degree in Business Finance

Master's Degree in Business Administration

Massachusetts Real Estate License (inactive- but willing to 100% reactivate, and/or get licensure in NH)

Reach out if you would like to connect!

Quote from @Jim Froehlich:

Marette, we are in the Lakes Regions and open to potential future projects. My wife, Kerri, managed a 2-family as STR here in Wolfeboro and her mother does AirBNB on a room; that first one is now full-time rental that she manages. My opinion is that for the Lakes Region, STR is a tough equation in terms of ROI in our limited experience. North Conway or someplace with at least three good seasons might pan out better. Many people would like to own a place up here and rent STR when not using it, but everyone (including the owner) wants to mainly only be up here in the summer (and maybe some fall). Year-round rentals in the Lake Region of NH make much more sense (than STR), along with limited development and fix-flips in my opinion (which is still going well I think). Good luck and please feel free to send us any deals you're considering where a partner might be required. Thanks!

Thanks Jim! Id love to talk more about some ideas that I have to make Lakes Region short term rentals more profitable, I do agree that North Conway is a great market too. Let me know if you'd like to chat!

Hi Everyone!

I am new to the game, but hoping I can be a great connection for many people just looking for the right partner/match. My name is Marette Boyle, and I am trying to get into the STR Industry. I am currently looking in a pretty expensive market with LOADS of potential.

My family and I love the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Specifically Lake WInnipesaukee. It has incredibly expensive properties, but almost 100% occupancy rates. We owned a family property in the area for over 66 years, and unfortunately do to family conflict, we were forced to sell in 2010. We still spend summers there (renting STRs) and I know the area incredibly well.

What I am wondering is if there are investors here looking to partner with someone who could act as their STR Manager, but could also contribute a small portion (comparatively to the area) financially, and also contribute in the form of sweat equity (We have family experience working in contracting/carpentry/design).

Basically- We are looking for an investor/partner who can contribute to a larger financial portion, but wants to sit back, make some money - while we do the leg work to get in to the area/str game.

I should add, I have previously worked in real estate ( license is expired, but I would be willing to renew for the right opportunity) I have a Master's degree in Administration, and a Bachelor's in Business Finance... I may be new to the STR Market, but I have plenty to offer to the equation in terms of things to add to the table.

If you have connections, insight, suggestions, or feedback-  I would love to hear from you. Like Brandon has said many times- You don't know if you don't ask!!!

TYIA!
