New to the game - NH STRs

Hi Everyone!

I am new to the game, but hoping I can be a great connection for many people just looking for the right partner/match. My name is Marette Boyle, and I am trying to get into the STR Industry. I am currently looking in a pretty expensive market with LOADS of potential.

My family and I love the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Specifically Lake WInnipesaukee. It has incredibly expensive properties, but almost 100% occupancy rates. We owned a family property in the area for over 66 years, and unfortunately do to family conflict, we were forced to sell in 2010. We still spend summers there (renting STRs) and I know the area incredibly well.

What I am wondering is if there are investors here looking to partner with someone who could act as their STR Manager, but could also contribute a small portion (comparatively to the area) financially, and also contribute in the form of sweat equity (We have family experience working in contracting/carpentry/design).

Basically- We are looking for an investor/partner who can contribute to a larger financial portion, but wants to sit back, make some money - while we do the leg work to get in to the area/str game.

I should add, I have previously worked in real estate ( license is expired, but I would be willing to renew for the right opportunity) I have a Master's degree in Administration, and a Bachelor's in Business Finance... I may be new to the STR Market, but I have plenty to offer to the equation in terms of things to add to the table.

If you have connections, insight, suggestions, or feedback-  I would love to hear from you. Like Brandon has said many times- You don't know if you don't ask!!!

TYIA!
