Hi , I'm looking for feedback on solar panels on my personal home in Massachusetts. I am in need of a new roof soon and have been looking into solar panels on my roof as an option to cut my electric bill. I would only be interested in purchasing the panels on a payment plan with a payoff period of about 7 years. Massachusetts still has a 30% credit on place as well as a State $1000 credit. I'm looking for peoples experience with solar panels good and bad to determine if it is worthwhile for me. Also what have you had for costs of installing 6-8kw systems will solar panels hurt the longevity of my roof. Thanks

Do you know if the water and septic are public or private? I would keep calling around to other parks saying your looking for a home for your grandmother until someone calls you back. Maybe hire a property manager or someone off of Craigslist to travel to the park to ask around. Check out the county on bestplaces.net to see about the location. @kevinbupp has a podcast on Mobile Home Park Investing on this subject.

Hi Jaquita Perkins I can't add anything about the build out of an RV park. I'm assuming that you got into mobile home parks with the goal of filling all of your lots and getting your tenants to own their own homes. This will create more time for yourself and your husband and create a more passive income. Were you planning on owning and operating the convenient store? Retail businesses especially convenient stores are 24/7. They require a lot of time. If you are looking to hire a manager to run the operation for you that requires a lot of trust. Many problems can come up. You might want to find someone locally that would want to open a convenient store and run it themselves where you would just collect rent. Good luck!

Hi All, I wanted to ask your opinion on Mobile Home Park Investing. I have been educating myself about this space and have decided to dive right in. Im looking for more information specifically on education, books and learning materials and boot camps. I've been listening to podcasts with Kevin Bupp, Jefferson Lilly and Frank Rolfe. Can anyone recommend any boot camps that they have attended or heard first hand how they were. I'm looking forward to jump starting this new venture. Thank you
