Hey scott,

Welcome! You've definitely come to the right place for advise. Although prices in Orlando may seem better, the rent in FLL is indeed a lot higher. Also, more and more millennials are moving to FLL and it is becoming a more and more popular area. My advice would be to sit down and figure out what your budget is. Afterwards, compare the pros and cons of Orlando properties vs FLL properties. As Jared and Zack are, i am also a RE agent. However, i specialized in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area. Here to answer any questions you may have, and also wishing you the best of luck! Given that you work long hours throughout the week, i'd say you should spend your weekends/free time here on the forums learning and definitely do your research on what properties are currently going for. Stay up to date on market trends.

I want to start my first flip this summer. I just want general advice as far as whether I should go with a hard money lender or not.. or possibly find a partner to go 50/50 with. Meaning my partner finances the flip and I manage it. Any replies would help! Thank you!
