Hi yes I am interested please let me know when you decide to meet

Hi,

I am planning to invest in TX preferably in Houston as I have friends and family there. I am from Southern California and after analyzing the market here I am finding it very difficult to find properties with the ROI that I am looking for, therefore I am starting the research other areas and Houston is one that interests me.

I am reaching out to this forum hoping to find other investors in the area, RE Agents and Property managers to begin building relationships. I am planning to make a trip at the end of month to research and analyze the area. Anyone in Houston drop me a line so we can talk and perhaps meet while I am there.

Thanks a lot

Manuel

Hi @Lee S.

I called like 18 last week and they do offer 60% but the property needs to be Single Family Home, they wouldn't accept a 3plex. If you have names of the credit unions that will offer it I will appreciate if you could send me their names.

Thank you so much

One thing I forgot to include the investment property is a 3plex not a single family home. This seems to be a problem and I haven't been able to find a bank that will extend the line of credit by being a 3plex

Hi Everyone, I have an investment property with 500k in Equity. I am having difficulty finding a bank or credit union willing to extend an Equity Line of Credit, the only bank I found was Wells Fargo and is willing to accept a Line of Credit for up to 60% of the value because it is an Investment Property and not my primary residence. Does anyone know of lender that could extend a line of credit for 70% or 80% of the appraised value? Thanks a lot for your help

Hi @John Arendsen Yes I am, there are many issues regarding city regulations that I am analyzing before I can make a final decision whether is a good idea for me or not.

Unfortunately the city doesn't make it very easy or affordable to create extra units. So many fees that makes it almost impossible to create more affordable housing.
