Not only that, but for me personally, I am not sure I would want to do business with someone who appears to be unwilling (be that true or not) to show themselves. Relationships, in my opinion, are still the most important aspect in business. If you are unwilling to even show me your face I am pretty sure I would be unwilling to show you my money.

Just my 2 cents.

There is a specific person I am looking to follow but when I search their name whenever I pull up a post that they have commented their name does not have a "connect" link so that I can follow them.

Is this a bug or is there an ability to no allow people to follow, or . . . .

Thanks

Rick

When you use the @mention, scroll down a little to see if you see the name. I thought mine was not working initially because I thought it would automatically work similar to FaceBook. Scroll down and I'll bet you see the @name.

Post: Zillow foreclosure estimate

When looking at the "foreclosure estimate" on Zillow, is that the estimated amount of the remaining mortgage or what they expect they will be selling it for or it the same.

How much less could you offer that might still considered?

Thanks!

I would assume that owner financing would not show up on credit reports and make it easier to own more properties and get additional traditional financing in the future. So all things being equal I would probably go with the owner financing.

In the Real Estate Marketplace I have seen some pretty good deals, or at least they appear to be.

How does one evaluate whether the deal (and numbers) are accurate if unable to travel to the property?

Is there anything to be aware of if financing out of state?

Any general information that could provide would be appreciated.

Just upgraded. You know what they say, gotta spend money to make money and 5 bucks seems like a very small amount for the education I am getting.

I am new to this as well @Rich Perrin. We have had other business interests over the years and already have an LLC.

In my mind the money is the most important thing since without it you can't do much. So I know how much cash we have and I am securing lines of credit and making contacts and arrangements so that if I need money in a hurry to secure a deal I will either have it or know where to go.

I have already begun putting together a team to help me, I have a good contractor, electrician, painter, and real estate agent. There are still many things that I think need to fall into place but I don't want to be stuck just trying to figure it out.

I would begin doing whatever you can to begin with because sitting around trying to decide what to do is doing nothing. Anything you do will help you IMHO.

I am sure some of the seasoned veterans will have better advice but that's where I am at and what I am doing.

Post: What Constitutes a Good Property Management Company?

I have read through a lot of posts and have been able to pick up bits and pieces but I am hoping you can either point me to a thread that defines what a good property management company does or should do or maybe make this the definitive post for property management company requirements and duties.

Thanks
