Good evening All. We need someone who is experienced in evaluating and buying/selling land (Civil engineer). Who can do feasibility study and guide us to confirm if this is right opportunity for us.

Location: High Point, North Carolina (Zip code: 27268)

Appreciate your suggestions. Thank you in advance.

Dear All,

Some People whom we are enquiring are saying that they don't have "Broker's License" to manage properties in our area. As am the owner, will I also require some license to manage my own properties ?

Hi Jaryn,

I really appreciate and Thank you for your input. Actually, the area am targeting is not a great area. Some people are from Section 8 as well. I’m little worried about it as well to take over but facing issues with my current Property Management company.

Hi Jaryn,

I heard the Mid-Term rentals can create more Wealth and especially Travel nurses would keep the house clean and be responsible. I'm also confused if the route am choosing is the right way to build good wealth and keep my property safe.

Maha

As mentioned above, you could totally do well with traveling nurses or any mid term rental client but you'll want to make sure you're really clear on the product that they are interested in. Get clear on what your numbers will look like for both long term residents vs mid term residents. Remember that for mid term you're going to have to put a good amount more capital in to get the units ready as you'll need to furnish and decorate and more than likely you'll also be responsible for all utilities.

Hi Alecia,

I’m  a Pro member.

I’ve long term rentals till now but the issue is that the current Property Management company is deducting amount by saying there are repairs. As soon as , I decided to take it over, I did notice that utilities etc need to be on my name which sounds scary.

And also, the area that I’m targeting is not that rich area. Some families are thru Section 8. This is also bothering me but then thought of giving it a try.

TQ so much for the educating.

Hi Maha

Question for you. Why take it over and go the mid term rental route? Why not take it over and lean into just being the landlord with traditional long term residents ?
