Erwin this was in Torrevieja Costa Blanca, i can not speek for Barcelona.

I can compare it to Detroit which has a antisqaud team that get them out in 4 weeks. I had 3 Sqautters.

Thats better then 1.5 year. When it happenes.

@Ben Fisher

If a sqautter moves in to your house in Spain and live there for 2 days and nobody call the police.

(They have the right to stay there) The legal process could take 1.5 year to get them out.

This info did i get from my Spanish bank guy.

I have a Swedish friend that this happened to.

I tried Spain for 3 years and did not make anything.

Moved all my money to the US and will only invest in Landlord friendly states.

Stay out of countrys that has radical tenant friendly rules.

@Simon Dean

I can make sure that is not true.

I am from Sweden and the media try to tell that

we are. But we are a low energy country and if you are (succesful) you better not talk about it. Because in Sweden we have (jantelagen) which means that we should all have the same.

I applied for green in USA just because i get energy here while my energy die directly when i land in Sweden. We only have left media here and they just try to brainwash us and our kids.

2 of my houses is in Warren the rest is in Detroit. I had the same tenants in almost every house since 2018. Bought for around 65k is now worth around 85k and the rents have coming in as well. The PM is the thing that makes it work or being a disaster.

@Courtney Maynard Hi Courtney! I have 10 houses in Michigan and i invest from Sweden.

Michigan is my favorite state to invest in.

All my houses doing good except 1 that has a sqautter.

You need a agent and a PM you can trust and go from there.

Turnovers is the biggest risk in the lower class areas.

There is some floodareas in Detroit where you dont want to buy.

If you want to come in contact with my PM send me a message.

@Melany Longoria

I would not start in Las Vegas. But Las Vegas is a good market.

If i were you, i would start for ex in Michigan. Get in contact with a solid PM. You can have the one i use.

They can recommend you a good agent.

And when the agent finds a deal for you,, you can just verfy with the PM about the street if its good or bad.

Then send an inspector that the agent does not work with and if it feels ok, you can close your first deal.

Its not harder then that!

@Sherry McQuage

In Real Estate you dont need employers and i dont like to have employers.

I had 100 employers in the tyre business.

You just need a CPA, an Agent, and a Property Manager.

Whish i knowed that earlier.
