I've heard some investors are scared to invest outside of the United States. Are their reasons justified because of lack of information or strategy? We can invest with hopes of property value increases. Or we can invest in rental properties that realize ROI on regular intervals due to my Event Marketing Strategy. BRAD 'MagicBrad' GUDIM

Events are my wheelhouse.

@John Woodrich - yep, it appears your thoughts are pretty much set. :o)

However, I don't know that you're not taking into consideration the Event Marketing element.
(I'll be looking into the securities laws for non-accredited investors.)

Unlike a "timeshare" that houses only a few guests at a time, the Event Venue and Cabins/Villas will be housing "in groups", from small groups of 7-10 to larger groups of 50-100s.

Also, the Event element is separate business from the Real Estate element.

@Jorge Kuzmicic We are in the southern area near the Osa Peninsula. (San Buenas)

REI can be risky, so adding additional revenue generators into the project can lessen the risk.

I'm working on a project in Costa Rica that has investor opportunities in Real Estate (vacation homes etc) Some of the development includes an Event Center with revenue streams from GROUP Travel, Tourism and Events, such as Golf Clinics, Yoga Retreats, Business Education and Corporate Team Building etc. Although the Real Estate will be in Costa Rica, some of the revenue generated will be from the Travel, Tourism and Event Business. (primarily in the USA but also globally)

Your Thoughts?

@Sam Sharata My contact is living here in Minneapolis, and I've known him for about 6 years. He has had the land development in CR for I believe 12-13 years. The ROI fro this project is coming from not only the Real Estate, but more so from the events and activities we plan and promote on the property and community.

@Shiloh Lundahl It's a hybrid of REI, Vacation Rental, Travel and Event Management near the Osa Peninsula.

I'm working on a project in Coast Rica.

It's a hybrid of REI, Vacation Rental, Travel and Event Management.

With me being based in the United States (Minneapolis, MN) I'm interested in learning of some of the issues that might arise.

I'm working on a project in Costa Rica.

It is a "hybrid" of investing in Real Estate and an Event Center. The land development established and plenty of room for growth. The Event Center is for hosting retreats, corporate team building, workshops, mastermind events etc.

Your thoughts??
