Post: FHA Loan Requirements

Hi everyone!

Question about the FHA loan. Does anyone know details about the "primary residence for 1 year" requirement? Is it heavily enforced?

I want to get an FHA loan but I don't want to live in the property for a year. I tried to research the topic but couldn't find much on it.

Thanks in advance :)

Hello BP Community,

I am looking to buy as many books as I can that will help me on my journey to becoming a successful real estate investor. I want EVERY BP book but I don't want to buy them new ($$$).

Does anyone have BP books (or any other books you recommend) that I could purchase from you? Any recommended used books sites?

Thank you in advance.

Aaron

Post: % COC return for first deal

Hello everyone :)

So @BeardyBrandon always talks about how he wants 10-12% COC return from a rental property. I am a newbie investor and looking to close on my first rental property in the coming months. Should I have the same rule?

My main focus right now is to be a sponge - soak up and learn as much as I can about REI. I am very passionate and have tremendous drive. That being said, should I consider a lower return for the purpose of gaining knowledge and experience? If so, what percentage should I settle for?

Feel free to PM, happy to chat with anyone.

Thank you in advance.

I am super into real estate and continue to fall more in love as I am learning all about it. I want to get into it and Bigger Pockets is giving me that opportunity. It's amazing.

One thing I constantly think about as I am learning new things - whether it be on the podcast or on the website - is whether I am wasting my time or not because I want to move and live in Israel. Does anyone know if what I am learning can be applied to the market Israel?

More generally, can these concepts and ideas be applied globall?

Thanks in advance.
