Hello friends!

I’ve run across a company called “Here” that is in the vacation rental space. They’re buying/building and setting up beautiful, luxury AirBnBs and selling fractional shares. Investors are paid a percentage of the profit (if any) after all the usual expenses plus Here taking their fees.

I found them on Wefunder, a website that allows you to invest in startups, etc.  I’m linking their Wefunder page so you can see additional detail.

I’m curious if anyone has invested in Here itself or in the properties Here offers? And whether you have or not, what are your thoughts on this type of investment and company?

I wondered about this. What is the criteria for it to count as my primary residence? She’s an adult obviously, we don’t even share a last name since I’ve gotten married. That would be awesome if we could do this but of course I want to do things by the book!

Hey there! I’m following along. Looking to get into real estate investing. Our initial plan was to do turnkey properties, probably starting in Birmingham. But, my sister will be moving to Nashville soon for school and we are floating the idea of buying a rental property, have her live there rent free and manage it for us. Home prices are so high though, we are going to have to figure out something for a down payment of that size. Plus I need to research further to determine whether the Nashville market is in our best interests. I’m thinking AirBnB may be the way to go. It’s quite the destination!
