Thank you Anthony Thompson I really appreciate your recommendations. More specifically I have been looking into federal hill and college hill. How has your experiences in those areas been? Do you recommend my wholesaling approach in those areas specifically to possibly be successful, or should I be considering a different approach. And yes I am from Boston thanks for that reference, I will defiantly look into it.

Hey Rob Lane your portfolio must be real impressive ! I am 21 years old and still in college, and I live in the Boston area. Prices out here are considerably high. I'm an aspiring real estate investor, and extremely interested in the buy and hold aspect of investing for consistent cash flow and appreciation within the property. Currently I am searching for my first deal, hopefully a deal I can house hack. In your opinion do you recommend I just wait and save enough for a down payment, get a hard money lender, or apply for a conventional loan from the bank ? I'm sure getting a loan from the bank at my age and lack of land lording experience will make it difficult for me to get approved, thank you in advance

Ryan Hurd hey quick question, if I were interested in getting an FHA loan for a quad plex, would I have to find the deal first and bring it to them ? Or apply and see if I get approved first and for how much I get approved for, also do you recommend going to a big name bank or small local one ? Thanks in advance

Hey BiggerPockets, I am 21 years old from the Boston area and am extremely motivated to becoming a real estate investor here in Boston. I have gotten a lot of feedback from many different people about not investing in Boston because of the high costs. But I am determined to make it work no matter what kind of different strategies it takes, (if the numbers make sense). One way I want to step foot in the game is by offering my time helping any local investors in my area with anything they need. I really just want to learn as much as I can and absorb real life experience from someone already doing what I want to do. By offering my services I just want to be able to intake as much information as I can from people already doing what I am interested in so I can gain the confidence I need to do it myself. All the books in the world won't get me over the hump of doing it out my own and starting off. Do you guys have any suggestions on how I should get over the hump of starting off my real estate investing career. I do not want to get stuck over educating myself and find myself not ever doing my first deal. Any and all advice is very much appreciated ! Thank you in advance
