Does freddie mac or fannie mae or anyother similar properties have to be bought in cash in full, or is there other ways to close a deal? I have seen some properties that sound great and seem like a great deal. but i dont have the cash to buy them in full, and it seems like that's is the only option. Please clarify.

Does anyone know how to rent a property to a non-us resident. they are from England and will be staying here for a while, more than a year. Perhaps they will move here permenantly, but not at the moment. How do I go about checking their credit, what about green cards, does that have anything to do with it, what else do I need to make sure I am covered, and am doing everything by the book?

Two things.

1. Please clarify what you mean by fogging. I have heard of using ozone to kill all the mold in a unit. I would not call it fogging.

They call it fogging. They do a fungicide fog. It's able to get in where they can't spray. It also goes into the duct work etc. Yes, I realize that I have to stop the problem, of where all the moisture came from and I know that I can't prevent from any mold ever comming into the home. But I do need to make sure that the toxic type of mold is gone before I can sell the property for a profit. I just needed to know how bad mold can get (does it look worst than it really is), and if it can cause structual damage.

Has anyone here ever done mold remediation. I am thinking of purchasing a property from the bank. There is a lot of mold problems with the home, however the bank is willing to pay for the repair. Is there a tricky process on handling this type of situation, and how long does it take to take care of the problem. I will probrobly hire a mold remediation specialist that does the fogging method, because I heard that is what is best to fully kill and stop the problem. Does anyone also know what type of damage mold can do? Can it cause any structual damage? Any help will be helpful. Thanks.
