@Teresa Keith as of yesterday I am a new plus member at BP, but not new to construction. It sounds like you have already gotten most your questions answered. I am on ther other side of Atlanta in the West Georgia area, I hope to connect with as many fellow Georgians as possible, If you have any other construction related questions just let me know I will do my best to help.

I admire your courage! Good Luck!

@Dmitriiy F. Thank you for the welcome. I was just about to research the tag symbol because I wasn't sure how it was used. Do I use it every time?

Thanks for the welcome Carlos, I see you are from Lawrenceville and a real estate agent, so I appreciate your offer. I am sure I will have a few questions for you. One of my goals is to obtain my real estate license primarily for the education, but from several of the forums I have read it could have a lot of other benefits as well. I found out about a app here on BP that looks like it will be a lot of help preparation.

Thx again !

Ali, sorry it took me sometime to get back to you. As I said I have a full time job and duty called! No, I didn't go to School around there, interesting enough my daughter helped assistant coach softball for two seasons at Sandy Springs and she loved it! ( there's that small world again). I work in Newnan off 34 and I live in Sharpsburg. We have been in the area for about 7 years now.

Thanks Ali, with 1,433 post and growing I can see you are no rookie at this. Hope it's ok to contact you with questions from time to time.

FYI - I was in Fayetteville about an hour ago, small world!

Tom, I really appreciate your support. If I can help you with any construction related questions just let me know. I have a good grasp of the current renovation and new construction prices in the Atlanta market.

Hello everyone! My name is Monty and I live in Sharpsburg GA a small town just west of Atlanta. I can’t tell you enough how happy I am to find such a unique site. I am surprised at how many knowledgeable people their are on this site that are willing to share their knowledge and resources. I mean really! who gives away this kind of information? I have gone through the beginners guide, forums, podcast, resources…. for several days now and I truly believe that with this kind of support available theirs no more excuses to keep me from making the plunge into real estate investing. I have a full time job as an equipment rental general manager and sales manager over multiple locations, however I am an entrepreneur at heart and my roots are tied to general contracting and other various types of commercial and residential construction. In January 2014, I turned the keys over to the new homeowners of a ground-up custom built 4500 sq ft home in record time, considering the incredible amount of rain we have had. I also purchased my first investment property (buy and hold) in December of 2013. My long term goal is to use my construction experience to fix and flip for myself and others to acquire the funds necessary to purchase buy and hold or fix and hold properties. I also hope to network with fellow Georgians and out of state investors on various projects.

Thanks, to Josh D. for doing something incredible and to BP “Nation” for putting your knowledge out there!
