Hey @Hunter McBryde. I am looking for a multi-family at this time. Depends on the deal if I am willing to go and find another single family. Have you been able to get into another deal?  Also would you recommend the property management company you currently use?

@Travis Wylie I appreciate the response. I would definitely be interested in learning more about the Harrisburg market and what opportunities there are in the area. What kind of properties do you like to invest in, in that area?

Hey everyone,

I am interested in connecting with real estate professionals in the York, PA area that also invest in the city. I currently have a single family providing me with 13% cash on cash return. Moving forward I would like to invest in another property this year but would love to connect with other investors in the market to see if its worth it to continue investing in york in 2020 and if so possibly partnering on a deal. Look forward to hearing your insights!

Hello all,

I have been a PO for the last five years in the big apple (NY). I got started three years ago with a single family home rental in PA and am now moving forward this year on buying another. It is nice to see that others have been able to be successful in real estate coming from a public service background. It is definitely a pleasure to hear from you and would love to connect with you all and learn all I can from you!

I invest in a property in York. I have had it now for two years. I bought it cash at a 12% cap rate. It is worth buying in the area, but you must be careful exactly where you buy. Also I would advise taking note of the condition of the homes as made were built in the early 1900s.

@Bobby Shell is definitely right. I hear the fix/flip market is hot right now. I am out of state so it is difficult for me to take up that strategy.

This Thread is perfect! I am new to the website but have been listening to the podcast for many months. I am also in the same boat looking to purchase a multi-family home in the Bronx. As a result of my job, I have to live in New York City so it is imperative that I find the right deal. Ideally, I am looking to purchase a two family and house hack. Coming from a different state, the market in New York is expensive!!! haha. and  @Account Closed I'd also take you up on the offer and would be willing to meet.
