Hey Chris,

I'm not familiar with the Tacoma area, however I have been searching the MLS to buy a rental property down there. Any areas in specific you'd recommend and any you'd shy away from? Also houses are flying off the market in the Seattle area and inventory is low. Is it the same story in Tacoma?

Regards,

Lucas Pinto

Hey Everyone, I have been on the site for months now. Doing a lot of reading and researching and I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and buy my first property!

I'm going for a meeting with a mortgage broker in the Seattle area this week and from what I understand It should be easy for me to get a loan.

1.Credit score over 760

2.Household income over $100k net

3.No debt

4.Between me and the wife about $100k in assets

5.$35k Cash for downpayment

We are looking to spend max $300k on a house, any idea on the APR to expect for a 30year conventional loan in Seattle,WA.

Also has anyone had any luck with the credit union BECU?

Best Regards,

Lucas

Post: Ave Maria Florida, Near Naples Florida

Hey Bernard,

Ave Maria is becoming its own little city, the area is growing fairly fast. It's about 25 minute drive to naples, so there's a lot naples residents who live out there since real estate is so cheap. I have a good friend who bought out there in 2009 at its lowest low, and will make a fantastic ROI when he sells. My guess is that you probably wont start out making a killing right away, but within a couple of years you're going to be cash flowing handsomely. Best Luck

Hey Justin, I was raised in Naples,FL and lived there for over 10 years. Currently live in Seattle, but still check there mls listings just to see what's going on. The market there seems to be booming and there seems to be tons of opportunities. A lot more than Seattle at least. However there a certain areas within the city that you want to stick to, otherwise you will be dealing with risky tenants. I have been looking for a partner to invest in Naples with, I have more capital than experience or time. Hope this was somewhat helpful.

Best Regards,

Lucas Pinto
