Hello Charlie and welcome to BP! My area of expertise is helping people (investors included) buy and sell homes. Let me know if you have any questions or run across any problems you may need help with in the future!

@Chris Quinn I looked into the course and it sounds promising! The reviews are mixed, so I want to do some more research on it. I like the fact that I can do it all online in my free time though! Thank you for your input! It provides me with a great starting plan for my business.

@Jessica Riley It's so great to see other young and inexperienced agents like myself haha! I do agree about the picture thing, but this will have to do for now. I have an appointment later this week to get my head shots taken. Thank you for your advice!

@Mark Nolan Thank you! There's some great information provided in that blog! I'll check it out more in depth over the week.

@Brandon L. That is very sound advice! I have always thought having a good strategy fresh out the gate is a good way to become successful. I guess I'm just eager and hungry to learn all that I can. I will take your advice into consideration. Thank you!

Hello all! My name is Lovetee Lavelah and I recently obtained my RE license. My background has always been in sales and customer service so I felt RE was a great career option. My first client so far is an investor who has years of experience. I was quite puzzled at first as to why he chose me. I assumed he had an agent he uses and probably worked with for years....WRONG! He's actually bounced between a couple agents over the years.

In order to better serve him I figured I should do as much research as I possibly can on investing and identify areas I can help him in. My research lead to this site! My goal is to eventually become his go to agent. I don't want to stop there, however, I would like to get a few more investor clients and eventually start doing my own investing on the side.

My question is, how do I maneuver around the fact that I am inexperienced? How can I get these investors to look past the fact that I'm a new agent and honestly don't know much about the construction of homes? I can negotiate and charm like no other, but have never sold a home just yet! Up until a month ago I did not know what a septic tank looked like! They don't teach you that in RE school. What I do have on my side is my age (24), my ability to learn FAST, and a bubbly personality. Is that enough? Are there investors out there that WANT to work with agents like me?

I would greatly appreciate any input you guys might have!
