I'm wanting to purchase "Real Estate Finance and Investment Manual" by Michael R. Cummings, but as I'm someone from Canada, I want to make sure it pertains to Canadians if it happens to be a book written for USA or somewhere else. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if this is an American book and if so is it still applicable to people in Canada as I'm sure it will be a great educational book.

If you have a multi-family, duplex or single family home not listed with a realtor or not even for sale yet but you would like to explore the opportunity of selling, then send me a message and we can discuss the possibility further. I work closely with local investors in Kamloops, BC who are always searching for the next property to buy, so if some extra cash could be useful or you're just ready to move onto something new then this could be your saving grace. I look forward to hearing from you!

As someone who's trying to get into the real estate investing market, I'm searching through available properties between $250,000 - $350,000 throughout the Okanagan looking for 6 of the best investing opportunities for a potential investor. what I'm asking from the bigger pockets community is do you guys think there is a good enough amount of families looking for rental properties in the Okanagan and if so, in what particular areas to help narrow my search down?

Hello, my name is Logan and Im 18 years old and after careful consideration I've decided that I want to make Real Estate investing my career. After willingly moving out of my parents house from Alberta to BC at 17 it has really opened my eyes to money management and the importance of getting an education in order to live a satisfying life. I believe in todays market that a post secondary education is crucial to gain the knowledge and expertise required to truly succeed in this profession, so what I'm asking from the bigger pockets community is to help guide me in the right direction (particularly choosing a degree). So far I've applied to Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops for the bachelor of business Administration with the intent of majoring in Finance. I believe this course will teach me the ins and outs of finance and give me a good understanding of what I need to do to in order to be successful. I understand that investing initially requires a good amount of money so I'm still deciding what to do initially after graduation. Either get a job related to my degree or pursue becoming a Realtor but I'm not 100% confident I have the people skills required to be successful in that field of work. Any suggestions on which degree to take or what to do after graduation or even now?
