I would be interested. I worked at Countrywide during the mess that was going on in 2007 / 2008 and our entire department was shut down. I started working as a wholesaler about 6 months before I loss my job and flipped a few deals and I'm currently a full time RE Investor.

This is a great post. Delondon Dear we are testing out SMS messages to our buyers and having great response. The opt-in rate is pretty high so that's exciting.

Yes, building a buyers list is pretty easy to do. The key is building a relationship with your list and being able to sell them more then just RE deals.

Not only is the money in your list but MORE money is in the relationship you establish with your list!

@Ozzie I agree with Jerry there is is nothing new under the sun. You are on the right path just follow the steps you are learning, make sure the numbers make sense and make an offer! Keep in mind people love doing business with people they like, they can believe and comfortable with. So make sure to build a rapport with your clients. This will take you a long ways!!

Best of luck! : )

I agree with Shane, handwritten by far is the best. I receive more calls hands down each mailout and I have tried both.

Thanks for the responses guys : ) @Realtyman word of mouth is one of the best for sure but for someone new and starting out that would be a difficult. @Shane that is why I mostly use direct mail because my signs tend to disappear fast too : ) Yellow letters work great! @Antonio my second post was for you.

So you like receiving more leads in the long run then solid leads? I have bandit signs that stay up for awhile but I also get calls weeks or in some cases months later from leads that held on to my post card or letter.

Hi Everyone

This is my fiirst post, and I want to say I love this site! I've learned alot here.

I am interested in knowing which marketing method (out of the two) you prefer to use more and why. Do you receive more solid leads from your signs or direct mail?

For me I receive more calls from bandit signs but more solid leads from my direct mail campaigns.

Would love your feedback :D
