@Joseph Konrad Thank you for your advice! It's been difficult finding jobs around Ft. Carson with most wives/husbands looking for the small pool of jobs, so a little creativity is needed! I will definitely check out that podcast!

Would you all suggest me looking into a real estate license prior to beginning everything? Like I said, very new to everything so I apologize if this is a "stupid" question.

Nice to "meet" you! We make trips to Denver frequently (Ikea obsession), maybe sometime we can meet for coffee. I would like to learn all that I can. Besides the books on this site, do you suggest any particular ways to learn the profession?

Hi all!!

My name is Lindsay and I am completely new to everything real estate related.

I graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and am currently searching to find my calling. My husband is in the military so essentially I am looking for a profession that can move when we do.

My mother and father are both in commercial real estate with my aunt being an agent working for Remax, but I have no direct knowledge about the business so I figured that I would join a network that does in order for me to learn prior to investing!

I am a Georgia native, currently residing in Colorado. My goals for real estate currently are to learn from those who have come before me. However, I really am looking to get into house flipping. I found this website by googling information on house flipping and found an article directing me here.

I look forward to getting to know everyone!
