Thank you for the replys! Maybe “motivated” was the wrong word. Maybe who would benefit more from selling. And honestly, I think I was thinking that equity would affect what you walked away from the deal with in your pocket, rather than just how much you still owe the bank.

I'm new to REI and I am wondering where the cash offers come from. Are they individuals? As a real estate agent, I am looking to be the go-between and broker some of these deals. Who do I approach with a potential deal?

How does the reassignment of a contract work?
