Aloha Mike,

I rolled over my 401K from a previous job to set up a self directed IRA (SDIRA) through uDirect. I don't believe you can set it up from your current 401K, but I am no expert. I used the funds to invest in passive real estate deals. Have not used it for any deals where I manage the properties directly as that is not allowed. Also cannot invest with direct relatives such as parents or siblings. Any profits go back into the SDIRA. Reach out to Kaaren Hall, CEO of uDirect IRA in Irvine, CA for more info.

Can you please provide an update now that you are a few years in with MI?  Have there been hiccups along the way where you’ve been able to test their problem solving and customer service skills?  Any vacancy issues?  Thanks in advance. 

Has anyone done a deal with some of the passive investment companies advertised in BP such as renttoretirement.com or passiverentals.com?
