ACTUALLY, my issue is with this company, I have since moved on to another company that has been assisting me with credit repair.

I have made huge gains since switching.

ACS was not returning calls, was not disputing, they only sent disputes out 2 times in 6 months. and the first disputes where not even sent out until almost 45 days after i paid in full up front the day i signed the contract.

The current company i am using Veracity credit, is very helpful, they answer the phone, are professional, and actually function as a business.

I have had much better luck and improvements since they actually started doing what they said they would do.

I should have followed my gut feeling which was to stay away from ACS from the beginning.

so i have been using them since october of last year. I was refered to them by a friend who is an investor.

its been 5 months, I have paid off almost all my bad dept. (i 1 collection that i owe on for less then 300 as of today)

and my score has actually gone down over 50 points!

im very disapointed with the company. they do not ever return phone calls, i have to call 3-4 times to get them on the phone. and provided no help whatso ever.

i was actually served court papers on one of the deptors and was counceled by this company to ignore them as they said" we can get judgements off your credit!"

avoid ACS credit like the plague! i have had better luck just paying off the bills i have and doing it myself!

DIVORCE is nasty thats all i gotta say!

I live in san jose bay area and just had my landlord raise my rent again,

second time in 3 months this time its another 10% raise, ive decided im going to move to a cheaper place while i save money and repair my credit so i can buy my first property.

was just curios what the market will do. I have been there 3 years and take care of the place. figured id ask.

so i was wondering,

in areas with lots of homes on the market and people losing thier homes or on the verge of, does this mean the price of rents will rise or depreciate?

anybody read the article in yahoo news last night?

http://finance.yahoo.com/real-estate/article/104340/Housing-Meltdown;_ylt=Ai901LEwyqLqzknB1gjFYe5O7sMF

Some "speculators" are calling for a 25% reduction in price in real estate? I honestly cant see that happening in some markets but sure would be nice to get a nice house for a good price to start out with here in over priced silicon valley.
