Quote from @Ryan Antista:

@David Lamb, @Rick Garrido, @Lenny Figueroa, @Ryan Ruppert I also live in Long Beach, there seems to be enough people to start a local meet up! Any interest? I have looked but haven't found one yet. I recently sold my LTR in KCMO and am looking for my next project(s) there but I would love to get something going locally.

Definitely interested! let me know

Hey @David Lamb lets connect! I am also from Long Beach and seeing a lot of opportunities for fix and flips.

Hi BP community, I am looking for some recommendations for hard money lenders and contractors in Bakersfield, CA. Thanks!

Hi Valerie, I own a Duplex in the Alamitos Beach area. I have been living here my whole life and Long Beach has changed vastly these last couple of years and it's still full of development, especially downtown. If you are going to use an FHA loan I would advise buying a 2-4 unit property. There are still potential neighborhoods that I am seeing gentrify and I think those could be good opportunities to get in early. I am a realtor and also investor here in long beach, feel free to send me a message if you like to chat further.

@Gene Hacker - I am looking to see if I can network with anyone who has successfully BRRRR a property in Bakersfield. I also want to start putting a team together like handyman, contractors etc.

@Max Gradowitz - thanks Max!

@Sanjeev Advani - thanks for the info, will definitely be reaching out to you. Thanks!

Anyone doing the BRRRR strategy in Bakersfield? I'm looking at a couple of homes and wanted to get some insight on anything I should know before I start investing in Bakersfield. Thanks!
