Hi everyone! I'm starting my REI but still working my regular job as well - that job is an operations manager at a sustainable, native plant and edible garden company that does residential and commercial installs (amongst other things). I'm looking to network and work with real estate peeps to do installs on new builds or renovations etc. and wondering who would be the best person for this? Agents? Contractors? We're in Los Angeles if that matters or helps. Any thoughts or direction here would be greatly appreciated!

I'd love to come to the next one, please keep me posted. Thanks!

Hi everyone! I'm a super newbie (been doing a lot of learning/analyzing so far) and want to know if there are any meetups in the LA or Ventura area? I'd love to connect with others (I'm particularly looking at doing STR) and I couldn't find any by searching the BP forums or events, but I'm sure there are ones and I'm just not seeing them? Or if anyone wants to meet up for a coffee and be willing to bear my super basic questions, I'd love that too!

@David VanWert hi! I’m curious what areas out of state have been performing well for you? I’m looking to do str but looking at out of state for all the reasons you stated. FYI your Mammoth location is beautiful!

@Jason Kudo thanks Jason! I’m looking at Borrego Springs as an option, seems like a good spot. Any info you can share from the county would def be appreciated 😊

do'h! I didn't see that this post was from over 2 years ago lol! Sounds like it is probably nice! I love palm trees :)

Hey Mark! I’d look into doing a mix of native plants, granitic sand (or similar) and gravel. Lawns are outdated and AstroTurf is tacky (in my opinion) in California. Native plants can be relatively inexpensive depending on the type. If you send me some photos and other details I can help more with this! I love landscaping with native plants/gardens etc. 😊

@John D. oh wow! I'm very interested in learning about how you do this if possible. I'm looking to do multiple str in dif locations, so this could be very helpful to understand. I'd love to connect with you if you're open to that :)

@John D. Can I ask how you manage the properties? Do you have co-hosts that help?

@Maxwell Ventura Idyllwild seems definitely like a good opportunity. Thanks for this! I thought Palm Springs would be tapped by now? I’ve heard Desert Hot Springs is another potential up and coming destination for “cannabis tourism” apparently, has anyone heard about this?
