Let me know how your projects go. My husband and I live in Santa Clarita, CA and are planning to buy a SFH in Cincinnati this spring. We fly out in 2 weeks to better learn the city. We are interested in doing more rehab in the future, however for our first property we don't want to tackle more than we can handle. Very curious to how your rehabs go!

Thanks for your post! My husband and I are in Santa Clarita and have been spending the last 6 months learning about REI and saving up for a down payment. We are also looking OOS and it's intimidating considering we are newbies and doing it from afar.

@Jeremy Young We haven't completely narrowed down a neighborhood yet. Need to start focusing on that this next month so we have a few specific areas we can check out in January

I am also interested in finding a real estate agent interested in working with new investors. I am also from California and will be ready to buy sometime in the spring. Currently have a trip booked to Cincinnati for January.
