As someone who was once in your shoes, I would say to study your market as much as you can. Know what areas you want to be in and how much the going rents are. So when a property does come up, you can be ready to pull the trigger.

@Jonathan Taylor Smith I have been a licensed broker for about 5 months. At the moment I do not own a rental property, however by the end of the year I would like for that to be changed. I noticed you too have similar interest, do you currently have any rental properties?

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself, I have been following up on this site for a while now, however just haven't gotten around to posting anything. I am looking to connect with fellow investors, wholesalers, and agents in the triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill). My interest is in multifamily and buy and holds. Look forward to hearing back from some of you that already have experience in this field or are looking to get into it also!
